Doophusalia (pronunciation:  Doo-Fus-Ay-Lee-Uh)  n.


Derivation:  from the compounding of
doofus (a stupid incompetent person, dimwit, nitwit or half-wit, simpleton, a person lacking intelligence or common sense) and the suffix -alia, which signifies a worthless collection of something --
**I used the modern day, urban spelling of doofus, which is "doophus" and combined it with "alia".


Definition:  a collection or group of people with shared characteristics - that they are in the public eye, make public statements and exhibit certain behaviors in public locations that are simplistic, dimwitted, lack intelligence and lack common sense


Doophusalia - (used in a sentence) - Doophusalia are most often found in places such as supermarket express checkout lines when they have more than 12 items or in Congress.
